SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh is a non- governmental international organization that has been operating in the country since 1972. We stand beside children and young people who have been separated from their families, abandoned, neglected, or forced to grow up in unsafe environments— deprived of the support and protection they need to prepare for their future.

Since 1972, SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh has been transforming the lives of children and families in Bangladesh through family-like care and family strengthening programmes—positively impacting over 127,000 lives nationwide.
From family-like care to family strengthening, education, youth empowerment, and vocational training—our holistic, long-term programmes are directly run across six locations in Bangladesh.
SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh is a government-approved non-profit organisation eligible for tax-exempt donations. Every contribution supports child welfare, education, and family development with full transparency and accountability.
Our governance structure ensures accountability at every level. Through independent audits, transparent reporting, and ethical management, we uphold the highest standards of integrity and trust in all our programmes.
